Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 up for pre-orders @ Rs. 30,990

Last month, Samsung introduced its mega sized phablets to the Indian market including Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Mega 6.3. While, Galaxy Mega 5.8 was already launched at Rs 24,500, it was informed that Galaxy Mega 6.3 will finally hit the stores by June 22.

Samsung’s new large screen smartphone Galaxy Mega 6.3 is soon expected to be available in the markets. Online retailer Flipkart has listed the Galaxy Mega 6.3 for Rs 30,990 and noted that the arrival is expected in the last week of this month. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 touts a 6.3-inch display and packs dual-core mobile processor inside. Clearly meant for those seeking large display to enjoy the mobile content, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is the phone to look forward to.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 sports a 6.3-inch 720×1280 display and features the same camera as that of Galaxy Mega 5.8. It is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The Galaxy Mega has 1.5GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and A-GPS. The phone comes with a 3,200 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone comes with 16GB internal storage capacity and has a microSD card for expanding the storage up to 64GB. The phone was launched at an MRP of Rs. 31,490.

The latest Galaxy Mega 6.3 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by super powerful 1.7Ghz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 AP processor and is backed by 1.5 GB RAM. And has a Adreno 305 graphics.

The 6.3 inch phablet comes with 16 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB through microSD card. The South Korean Giant Samsung has incorporated an 8MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash in this phablet and the device also features 1.9MP front facing camera for video calls and self portraits.

Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, GPRS, EDGE, 3G and GLONASS, NFC, USB and Bluetooth. Further, the latest device with the largest display is powered by a 3200mAh standard Li-ion battery. The device is initially priced at Rs. 31,490 but Infibeam and Flipkart both will be selling the device at Rs. 30,990.

    Just want to know does anyone experiencing minor bugs after the latest firmware update that includes app transfer to sd card? Coz i’m experiencing some.

    1. A delay when locking screen

    2. A delay when unlocking screen

    3. A delay screen rotation

    4. A delay when controlling the volume buttons

    So far here they are. I updated my s4 thru wifi using it and not Kies. So overall the update made some of my feautures or transitions to become slower.

    So anyone? Hope samsung can fix and see this. I live in the Philippines btw.
